Discover Hong Kong from 23 December 2006 - 27 December 2007.

Hong Kong consists primarily of Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island, Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories as well as some 260 other islands. A lot rite..

Hong Kong's climate is subtropical and prone to monsoons. It is cooler and dry in the wintertime which lasts from around December to early March. But Hong Kong's winter time is not as bad as Korea... It's just nice for Malaysians.. haha

Hong Kong has an active nightlife in major entertainment districts — Lan Kwai Fong, Tsim Sha Tsui, Wan Chai, etc. These areas are frequented by visitors, expatriates and locals alike. On a clear day, Victoria Peak offers a spectacular view of the city. There is also a promenade along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, which is popular among young Chinese couples.

We were now boarding Singapore Airlines to Singapore for flight interchange to Hong Kong. Excited huh?! Big smile from both of us!!!

We arrived at Changi Airport, Singapore after 45 mins of flight from Malaysia. Photo with Disney's characters... pretty artistic background and only girls will rule this place!! Will guys ever interested to take photos at such a disney-ed place??

Yummy for tummy..it was 1:04pm. This was how it looks when you board SIA. Good service with good food! The salad was pretty delicious with the thicky mayonnaise!

4:04pm.. Finally we arrived safely at Hong Kong International Airport. Fuuhhh. 5 hours of flight was quite tiring but worth it !Photo with Christmas tree made of golden and silver balls first before we left to Lantau Island.

Our checkpoint after the airport, checkpoint for bus. Haha..Everyone was busy with their luggages but, look at three of us! *winks*

Julia at the corridor of our room. Does it look like a hotel anyway? I could say that it is more to an apartment. This is because Hong Kong lands are limited and hotels were all built in such a way that can preserve land. Only rich people can afford a car and a freehold land! So kesian..

This is one of the best nightlife option at Hong Kong. Really a wonderful place for couples..ehe. Not only that, a place that offers the best panoramic view, filled with nightlife activities and best of all, the fingerprints of all the famous stars can be found here!

The Avenue of Stars is Hong Kong's monument to its stars of the golden screen. Bruce Lee, Michelle Yeoh and Jackie Chan all have a star on the avenue, as well as numerous other lumineries. Apart from a shrine to the stars, this harborside walk also affords the best views!
Lucky me that I got Jet Li's trademark!

Avenue of Stars which is located at the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade offers the promotion of outstanding professionals of Hong Kong's film industry. Besides, the harborside walk also affords the best nightlife option of the city..it's pretty amazing if you go there at night and not in the day.. ^_^

Look at the shopping spree at Hong Kong.. it was definitely bigger than our pasar malam. Really nice to shop there. Guess wat, I found a nice black dress on the ground. It was packed properly in a nice paper bag and really felt sorry for the person who lost this dress...Kah Kah!
Shoes spree was going on, unfortunately, no my size *sob*sob*.

Not only shoes spree.. handbags and clothes spree were going well too! Too bad I didn't change any Hong Kong money at that time, else I will definitely grab some cheap jackets there!

He was busy queueing up for his favorite yam bubble tea. It's my favorite drink too.. (=

Justin's grandparents were waiting patiently for their cucu-cicit to grab their Bubble teas.

Time to go home and we had an unroof double decker bus back to our hotel! First time experienced an open air bus. We won't get this kind of bus in KL and say thanks to the humid and sun burning weather in Malaysia. Some of the signboards were super low and afraid that it might knocked my head.. kah kah kah.

Hong Kong most famous dim sum restaurant. Can't remember the name of the restaurant.. but the "pai kuat" were seriously super yummy! Not only that, the dimsum with prawn was also one of the best slavoring food.

Me and Linda at Hong Kong's MRT...comfortable and fast compared to LRT. Ehe..

Perfect view that gives a perfect shot on your camera. It was just simply a good shot not only in the morning, but also at night. From this peak, you are able to view the splendor city of Hong Kong!

1/2 + 1/2 = 1
Thus, in conclusion.. we formed a complete whole!

Hong Kong has several bays and beaches, thanks to a long coast interspersed by twists and turns. Too bad, I just can't remember the name of this place. All that I remembered was Jackie Chan's house right on top of the hill. That's all.. haha.

Whoever lives in Hong Kong, should recognise a restaurant ‘which can fly on the sea and run to the heaven’, which must be the Jumbo Floating Restaurants. This splendid restaurant has adopted a design that imitates that of an imperial palace. Great?...

Lolz, what happened to her? Pointing at an animal's excretion? It seemed like we were extremely excited when we saw the XXXX... haha.

This building is unique in a way that it has a big hole in the middle. Why is it built like dis? The answer is all about feng shui. Kononnya, according to the so called master of feng shui, units on that location are bad and therefore, to avoid bad luck, we made hole instead of units! Lolz..speechless!

Look at the golden sky scrapper! This building is Justin's favorite because it is all golden! You like gold? So, get me a gold? Hahahaha.. joking!

25 December 2006.. 12:52pm.
Shenzhen Windows of the World is a fantastic replica park situated at the Overseas Chinese Town. Windows of the World is a pretty big theme park with miniature-sized replicas of several buildings from all over the world. It will take you several hours (one whole day)...

With Justin, David, Julia, Aunty Helen and Linda...

With my better half again... (=

Christmas dwarfs... still remember the story? Else, go GOOGLE and make a search!

Wow, such a gigantic xmas tree!! I love it.....

Vacanze Romane is proudly situated in Italy but I got a candid shot at Shen Zhen.. not bad huh!

Egyptian Dance ? Egyptian Pose ? So You Think You Can Dance ? I totally have no idea.. but they were superlly adorable bro n sis. Haha...

The Christmas setting was pretty good and I truly admired this kind of decorations. Thumbs up for the workers!!

Another thumbs up for the workers!! Though Shen Zhen does not snow, but the people were smart that they invented fake snows flakes to spike up the mood of Christmas!!

Shen Zhen also offers skiing adventure? Wanna have a try?

David, Julia and Justin after preparing themselves for the skiing!

It was freaking cold here..wonder why they did not provide gloves for us. This place offers two type of games, skiing and sliding. It's free of charge but you have to pay for the entrance fees. (=

Cold! Cold! Sniff! Sniff!
Bone Chilling Cold - my hands were swollen like sausages!

Been to Egypt? No worries, you can just get it in WoW. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a large half-human, half-lion Sphinx statue in Egypt, on the Giza Plateau at the west bank of the Nile River, near modern-day Cairo. The Great Sphinx is one of the world’s largest and oldest statues. The Great Sphinx was believed to stand as a guardian of the Giza Plateau, where it faces the rising sun.

The Eiffel Tower is an iron tower built on the Champ de Mars beside the River Seine in Paris, France. However, thanks to Windows of the World in Shen Zhen that offers a duplicate of Eiffel Tower. Haha.. It is the tallest structure in Paris and one of the most recognized monuments in the world. It is named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel.

Both of them were so into the map.. they can be our next tour guide? Ehe...

The Ng's family ...

I was so the enjoyed...

Nice antique car? Wish to have one?

Wow, a gigantic dwarf.. thought dwarf supposed to be small in size? Lolz...

The three princesses from China?

Oh no... doesn't it look like our Malaysia's Kenari? Why is it here?

26 December 2006..
Disneyland Hong Kong...

It's time for Disneyland! The park currently features four themed lands similar to those at other Disneyland parks: Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The park is missing a classic land, Frontierland, but it may be built in the future. The park features a daytime parade "Disney on Parade" and "Disney in the Stars" fireworks show in the evening. Occasional celebrations, such as Disney's Halloween, A Magical Christmas and Disney's Chinese New Year, are held in the park to celebrate the festivals.

Me and Julia...

Hong Kong Disneyland is the first theme park inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The theme park uses both English (Thank God) and Chinese in its communication. Hong Kong Disneyland is dedicated to the young and the young at heart - with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration, and an enduring symbol of the cooperation, friendship and understanding between the people of Hong Kong and the United States of America. A fun place to go, but one time visit is more than enough!

Acting like the Minnie.. successful? Haha..

Sleeping Beauty Castle is the fairy tale structure at the center of Disneyland Park and Hong Kong Disneyland Park. This castle was simply awesome during night time with the lit of fireworks and spectacular lights! It's a must to watch.. I have a full-length video.. wanna have a view? Ehe...

The next stop shall be our Tarzan's Tree house..

In a raft heading to the Tarzan's house..

This is Tarzan's Treehouse!! So modern wan ?? Haha... There's also Adventureland, with the exciting Jungle River Cruise and all of the animal sights and sounds. Tarzan has made his home in Adventureland, where you can take a ride on a raft to cross to Tarzan Island where you can visit Tarzan's Tree House.

Me and Justin trying to act like a Tarzan climbing ropes..

Oh no.. she followed us!! Copy cat.. hahahaha.

Really like you were in a fantasyland rite..

David with little Dumbo..

Justin was queueing up for popcorns.. and these popcorns were Julia's favorites!!

This was a theatre show animated by Mickey Mouse characters.. really fun and you can see talented ppl acting in this show. Really a must to watch though the queue was freaking long! Worth watching.. (=

Night view of Sleeping beauty's castle..

Spot me ! Space fountain brought us throughout the space with a high speed of spaceship and it caused me to have an experience in space!!

Tomorrowland.. not sure what's dis cause we did not have extra time to explore.

Butter cup... I'm targetting my enemies..

and I killed all of them!

Pooh's story...

Lion King's story...

That was all bout our trip to Hong Kong. The final event ended up at Hong Kong Disneyland and we shall fly back to Malaysia on the next morning! Time passed so fast when we were on vacation and not when we were working..
Anywayz, I truly enjoyed myself.. ehe!!
